Component Testing Procedures

240 VAC, if not replace switch.

Continuity, approximately 20 , if not replace.

Broil element Measure voltage at bake element. 240 VAC, see wiring diagram for terminal identification. Disconnect wire leads to element and If no voltage is present at bake element measure resistance of terminals. check wiring.

Continuity, approximately 19 , if not replace.

Oven temperature Measure voltage at broil element. 240 VAC, see wiring diagram for terminal sensor identification. Measure resistance at ERC terminals, If no voltage is present at broil element not at the sensor / harness disconnect check wiring. block. The value must be between 1059 and 1101 when measured at a cavity / room temperature between 60°F and 80°F.

Hinge Carefully open the door to full position. Slide hinge lock to lock position. ! CAUTION Close the door to first stop position and raise door from hinge receivers. Do not place hands in hinge area when Hinge replacement requires door oven door is removed. Hinge can snap disassembly. closed and pinch hands or fingers.
